FLORIDA: President Donald Trump has once again emphasized his significant contribution to stopping a nuclear war between India and Pakistan, saying he saved over 10 million lives. US President Trump also spoke highly of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDF) of Pakistan, Chairman Sayed Asim Munir, who is recognized as a very important person in the area. The US President noted that PM Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan had, in a way, acknowledged his influence in preventing the war, thus highlighting his global peacekeeper.
Speaking at a press conference with the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of the Navy, Trump revealed that the US is set to build 15 new submarines and 3 modern aircraft carriers, emphasizing that the US is currently 15 years ahead of any other country in submarine technology.
“Our Navy is being transformed into the world’s most powerful fleet. No country, including China or Russia, can compete with our submarines. We are leading the world in advanced submarine technology,” Trump said, adding that these new developments would bolster the US Navy’s strength significantly.
He pointed out that the new aircraft carrier, named “Victory”, would not only be a significant factor in the US military supremacy but also bring back the US shipbuilding industry’s glory. President Trump again brought up the issue of the war against drug trafficking. He stated that the drug-related death toll in the US had exceeded 300,000 last years and that the government was determined to cut off the supply of drugs to the country.
Trump stated that the US Navy is targeting drug-smuggling boats operating in the seas and has successfully destroyed numerous such vessels. “We have managed to block 95% of illegal drugs from entering the United States,” he proudly declared.
