The federal government has issued orders for the appointments and transfers of officers, making important administrative changes at bureaucracy level.
According to the notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Iftikhar Ahmed Khan has been appointed as Deputy Secretary Cabinet Division and Muhammad Naqeeb Ahmed as Deputy Secretary Maritime Affairs Division.
Thus, the current Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Zafar Iqbal, has been removed from his post and directed to report to the Establishment Division.
According to the notification, the services of Grade 19 officer Azmat Ali, who was awaiting appointment, have now been handed over to the Council of Common Interests (CCI) Secretariat.
