The Islamabad court, while delivering an important verdict in the TikTok Sana Yousuf murder case, ordered the accused Umar Hayat to be sentenced to death and pay a fine of Rs 2 million.

During the court proceedings, prosecutor Raja Naveed Hussain and the victim’s lawyer Sardar Qadeer appeared in the court, while the father and mother of the victim, Sana Yousuf, were also present in the courtroom. During the hearing, the prosecution completed its final arguments, and the court was informed in detail about various aspects of the case.

This high-profile case concerns the gruesome murder of young TikToker and social media influencer Sana Yousuf. The accused Omar Hayat had brutally murdered Sana Yousuf in Islamabad. The incident had sparked a wave of outrage on social media and in public circles, after which the police took immediate action, arrested the accused, and registered a murder case against him.

During the initial investigation after his arrest, the accused Omar Hayat confessed to killing Sana Yousuf. However, later during the trial court proceedings, the accused retracted his initial statement and denied the crime. The accused’s lawyers used various legal tactics to weaken the case and avoid conviction, but the prosecution presented strong evidence before the court.
