PESHAWAR: PTI MNA Shahid Khattak has reportedly gone into hiding following the imposition of governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, yet he is urging party workers to march towards Peshawar, raising questions about his own whereabouts.

In a series of social media posts, Khattak urged party workers not to wait for any leader and to head towards Peshawar.
“No one should wait for any leader, march towards Peshawar,” he said in an X post.

In another post, he called on overseas Pakistanis to organise protests around the world to counter the federal government’s action. His calls for public mobilisation have drawn attention to the contrast between his appeal for workers to take to the streets and reports that he himself is out of sight.

Not, Shahid Khattak, many PTI provincial and central leaderships have gone into hiding soon after the federal govenmenrt announced of imposing Governor’s rule in KP. The federal government said it was imposing the new order following the poor law and order and increase in terrorism in the province where the PTI has been in power for the last 13 years, as it has totally failed to act against militancy.
