ISLAMABAD: Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam was surrounded by spectators during a President’s Trophy Grade-I match at Diamond Ground in Islamabad, where a large number of fans entered the ground and attempted to take selfies with the star batter.
According to reports, several spectators gathered around Babar Azam as he made his way through the ground. During the commotion, Babar reportedly took a mobile phone from a fan and threw it away.
The incident occurred during the President’s Trophy Grade-I match between Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) at Diamond Ground.

Babar Azam eventually managed to make his way through the crowd and reached the pavilion.
Following the incident, Islamabad Police reportedly tightened security arrangements at the ground to prevent further disruptions and ensure the safety of players and spectators.
