Differences in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf intensified, as the self-centred PTI could not spare a moment to meet Party founding chariman Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi today.
According to sources, a list of senior party leadership was sent to the jail authorities today, which included the names of Barrister Gohar Khan, Salman Akram Raja, Sardar Latif Khosa, Babar Awan, Hamid Khan and Intizar Panjotha.
The scheduled time for the meeting ended by 4 pm, but not a single leader on the list turned up at Adiala Jail to meet the PTI founder. This is the second time in the last three years that no senior leader came to meet the PTI founder despite being named by the party.
This situation has caused a stir within the party’s inner circles and is being seen as clear evidence of growing differences within the PTI ranks.
