A drug addict undergoing treatment in Saidu Sharif area of Swat has allegedly committed suicide, after which the situation in the hospital became tense and forced the patients to flee the hospital due to Ruckus.
Immediately after the incident, other drug addicts present in the center protested strongly and broke the doors and windows of the hospital.
Taking advantage of the vandalism and ruckus in the hospital, more than 20 drug addicts also managed to escape from the center. According to the police, the deceased belonged to Shangla and was living in Bahrain Swat at that time.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, a large contingent of police reached the spot and started an investigation after bringing the situation under control.
Police officials say that all aspects of the alleged suicide and riot are being examined and the search for the escapees is ongoing.
