ISLAMABAD: The date for the much-awaited draw of the Rs1,500 prize bond has been announced, bringing news for thousands of bondholders hoping to win cash prizes.
According to the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS), the draws for Rs100 and Rs1,500 prize bonds will be held on August 17, 2026.
The draw for the Rs1,500 prize bond will be conducted in Faisalabad, while the Rs100 prize bond draw will take place in Multan.
For the Rs1,500 prize bond, the first prize of Rs3 million (Rs30 lakh) will be awarded to one lucky winner. The second prize includes three prizes of Rs1 million (Rs10 lakh) each, while 1,696 winners will receive the third prize of Rs18,500 each.
For the Rs100 prize bond, the first prize is Rs700,000, while three winners will receive Rs200,000 each as the second prize. A total of 1,199 winners will receive the third prize of Rs1,000 each.
Officials said only those bondholders whose prize bonds were issued at least 60 days before the draw date will be eligible to participate in the draw.
Prize bond holders will be able to check their results through the official National Savings website after the announcement of the draw results or download the complete list of winners.
The prize money will be subject to applicable withholding tax deductions. Filers will face a 15 percent tax deduction, while non-filers will be subject to the higher applicable tax rate.
