The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a fresh weather forecast for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, warning of rain and thunderstorms in parts of the province over the next one to four hours.

According to the PMD, rain is expected in Swat, Dir, Bajaur, Malakand, Buner, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Bannu, Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Karak, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and adjoining areas.

The department said strong winds and thunderstorms accompanied by rain are expected during the next four hours, while heavy rain may occur at a few locations.

The PMD also warned that rain is expected at several locations along the Peshawar-Islamabad motorway, including Attock, Fateh Jang and Kamra.

The weather department has advised the public to remain cautious in view of the changing weather conditions and stay updated through the latest official forecasts and advisories.
