The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a temporary power suspension schedule for Monday, October 5, due to ongoing development and maintenance work in various areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to the schedule, electricity supply in areas served by Qadeer Road and K-Area feeders in Rawalpindi City Circle will remain suspended from 7am to 2pm.

Meanwhile, power supply to areas served by the Millatabad, Dhoke Chaudhrian, Peshawar Road, Askari-XI and COB Lane feeders in Rawalpindi will remain suspended from 8am to 12 noon.

In Islamabad Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 8am to 12 noon in areas served by the Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mehfooz Shaheed/Shahzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian, Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme and CDA Pump feeders.

IESCO said the temporary shutdowns are necessary to facilitate development and related works being carried out by the district administration. The company expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to consumers and said power supply could be restored earlier if the work is completed ahead of schedule.
