The weather is expected to be partly cloudy from June 18, and June 19. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Peshawar on Thursday, June 18, is likely to be 36 degrees Celsius, and the minimum is 25 degrees.

There is a 35 to 40 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The perceived temperature may go up to 43 to 44 degrees due to humidity.

The wind will blow from the east at a speed of 21 kilometers per hour, and the UV index will remain at 11, which is very dangerous. In the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the temperature will be around 31 degrees in the morning and reach 36 to 37 degrees in the afternoon.

The weather will be between 28 and 32 degrees at night and there is a possibility of light rain or clouds. The weather will be pleasant in the northern regions of Dir, Chitral, and Swat, where a maximum of 26 degrees and a minimum of 14 degrees are likely to be recorded in Dir.

Thunderstorms and light rain may continue throughout the day in these areas. On Friday, June 19, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the plainest areas of the province, including Peshawar.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 36 degrees and the minimum is 25 degrees. There is a low chance of rain, but drizzle may occur at night. The UV index will be 10, which means very high.

In Kohat, the temperature will be 34 degrees during the day and 22 degrees at night, and the weather will remain hot and sunny. The Meteorological Department and PDMA have directed citizens to avoid the sun from 11 am to 4 pm and to consume more water.

On June 18, unnecessary travel should be avoided during thunderstorms, especially in mountainous and tourist places. Peshawar’s air quality index has been recorded at 119, which is hazardous to health for sensitive individuals, so respiratory patients should use masks.
