ISLAMABAD: The government has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products for August 26 and 27, with both petrol and diesel becoming more expensive.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs1.12 per litre, taking the new price to Rs343.10 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been raised by Rs1.11 per litre, bringing it to Rs371.80 per litre.
The latest adjustment comes just a day after the government announced another increase in fuel prices. Petrol had been raised by 39 paisas per litre, while diesel had become Rs2.40 per litre more expensive.
