ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs2.20 per litre, bringing the new price to Rs327.62 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also been cut by Rs1.50 per litre, with the revised rate set at Rs380.86 per litre.
The latest reduction comes after the government’s previous announcement of a cut in petrol and diesel prices, under which petrol was reduced by Rs3.19 per litre and diesel by Rs1.50 per litre.
