PESHAWAR: A woman allegedly threw acid at a man after he refused to marry her in Peshawar’s Chamkani area, police said.
According to local news outlet reports, police confirmed that the incident left the young man with burn injuries. He was taken to a hospital for immediate medical treatment. The FIR revealed that the 26-year-old victim, identified as Siddiq Ullah.
Police further said the woman allegedly opened fire after throwing acid at the man.
A first information report (FIR) has been registered at Chamkani Police Station, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
