Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced that there will be no load shedding for two days of Eid-ul-Azha, and consumers will be provided with uninterrupted electricity for 24 hours on all feeders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Peshawar Electric Supply Company Chief Executive Akhtar Hameed Khan has said that it has decided to facilitate consumers during the Eid days to perform Sunnah Ibrahim and celebrate Eid in a proper manner.
PESCO staff will be on duty on Eid and will ensure a continuous supply of electricity. Similarly, additional transformers, power cables, meters and other equipment have been provided to all relevant subdivisions and feeders.
PESCO spokesperson directed citizens to avoid tying sacrificial animals to electricity poles, while consumers should avoid unnecessary use of PESCO electricity so that electricity can be provided easily to every household.
