Newly constructed road in Zakha Khel market affected in first rain, people raise questions on quality
The road constructed a few days ago from Tabai Chowk to Khabibano Chowk in Zakha Khel market area of Bara has started to be affected at various places after the first rain.
After the damage was found in the side walls and other parts built on the sides of the road, the local people have expressed serious concerns over the quality of construction.
Citizens say that high quality should be ensured in development projects completed with public funds so that there is no waste of national treasury and the people get long-lasting facilities.
The people have demanded that the concerned authorities, especially the supervisory officer, reach the spot and personally assess the current condition of the road, determine those responsible and if there has been negligence in the construction quality, legal action should be taken against it so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
