ISLAMABAD: Pakistani students seeking to pursue a master’s degree in Sweden can apply for the Dalarna University Scholarships 2027, which offer merit-based tuition fee reductions of 10 to 50 percent to eligible international students.

The scholarships aim to attract talented students and support academic excellence. However, they provide partial financial assistance rather than full funding, meaning successful applicants must arrange the remaining tuition fees and living expenses themselves.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Swedish bachelor’s qualification and meet the admission requirements for their selected master’s programme. They must also demonstrate strong academic performance and fulfil the university’s English-language requirements.

According to details, applicants can demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS, TOEFL or an accepted equivalent. The stated IELTS requirement is an overall score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0, while the listed TOEFL iBT score is 90.

Applicants should confirm the applicable requirements for their chosen programme through the university’s official website. The required documents may include a bachelor’s degree certificate, academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, an updated CV, a motivation letter and a passport copy. Recommendation letters may also be required, depending on the programme.

To apply, students must first select an eligible master’s programme and submit an admission application through the relevant official portal. They must then complete the scholarship application process and submit the required documents before the applicable deadline.

The scholarship deadline varies by admission round, so applicants have been advised to check the university’s official website for the latest dates, eligibility conditions and application instructions. The scholarships are available to eligible international students from outside the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland. Previous recipients of a Dalarna University scholarship are generally not eligible for another award. Further details and updates are available through Dalarna University’s official website.
