KABUL: The Afghan Taliban Ministry of Defense released a damage report that reveals how the Pakistani airstrike destroyed Bagram Airbase.
The report showed that the attack caused major destruction to essential military resources which included Black Hawk helicopters and a Hercules cargo plane and Tucano aircraft and armoured vehicles and other crucial military equipment.
The document describes the attack as the most devastating of its kind, with military sources confirming that the Pakistani strike was both severe and highly targeted, causing substantial damage to the base’s infrastructure and military capabilities.
Base operations faced major disruptions because the strike damaged military facilities, according to sources. The attack has further fuelled tensions in the region, with both sides assessing the full scale of the damage.
