Pakistan handed over 15 crew members of an Iranian ship arrested by the United States Navy during intercepting Iranian ship.
According to the Iranian News Agency, the crew members entered Iranian territory on Monday through the Ramadan border terminal in Sistan and Baluchestan.
The US handed over 22 crew members of the seized ship “Toska” to Pakistan as a confidence-building measure with Iran. According to US officials, last week, 6 crew members were already handed over to a country in the region for return.
It should be noted that the Iranian ship Toska was taken into custody by US authorities for violating the US blockade.
