JEDDAH: To make consular services easier for Pakistani citizens, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has introduced an online appointment system for NADRA and Machine-Readable Passport (MRP) services.
The new system is aimed at reducing long queues and save visitors times at the consulate, the new service will allow applicants to visit at a fixed time. Pakistan’s Consul General in Jeddah, Syed Mustafa Rabbani, launched the system the other day. Under the new system, NADRA and MRP services at the consulate will be available by appointment only from October 1, 2026.
Applicants can book an appointment online from their homes by selecting an available time. After the booking is confirmed, they will receive an SMS notification along with a tracking ID. The tracking ID can be used to check the status of the appointment online. Officials said the new system would help control crowds at the consulate and make the process more convenient for applicants.
Appointments can be booked through the consulate’s online portal at appointment.parepjeddah.org. The consulate has advised Pakistani citizens to understand the new procedure and book their appointments in advance before visiting for NADRA or passport-related services.
