NEW YORK: The Consulate General of Pakistan in New York has announced a public holiday on Monday, October 12, 2026, on the occasion of Columbus Day.

According to an official notice issued by the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York, the consulate will remain closed to the public on October 12, and all consular services will remain suspended for the day.

The closure is in observance of Columbus Day, a US holiday observed in October.

Consular Services to Resume After Holiday

The consulate has stated that all routine office operations and consular services will resume as usual the following day, Tuesday, October 13.

Pakistani nationals planning to visit the consulate for passport-related matters, document attestation, or other consular services are advised to take note of the closure and plan their visits accordingly.
