ZHOB: The Pakistan Army has carried out a successful operation against the Afghan Taliban in the Zhob sector, destroying an enemy armoured unit.
The security sources revealed that the operation occurred during the ongoing border tensions which Pakistan and Afghanistan experienced during the last three days. The operation targeted multiple Taliban strongholds which resulted in major damage to the militant groups.
The Pakistan Army confirmed that their operational success resulted from their professional strategy, together with their advanced equipment which established peace and order in the area.
Security sources revealed that the main objective of this operation was to send a strong message to the Afghan Taliban and prevent any potential threats from crossing the border. The army maintained protection for civilian areas during the operation while it conducted its activities according to professional standards, which minimized damage.
The operation demonstrates the Pakistan Army’s capabilities to protect border security and national safety through its effective response to all security challenges.
435 Afghan Taliban killed in Ghazab Lil Haq operation so far: Atta Tarar
Earlier, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that, during ongoing Operation Ghazb-ul-Haq, 435 Taliban militants have been killed and over 630 injured.
In a recent post on the social media platform X, the Federal Minister shared the latest updates on the operation, revealing that the Pakistan Army has completely destroyed 188 check posts belonging to the Afghan Taliban and captured 31 significant posts.
He detailed the damage inflicted on the Taliban, stating that 188 tanks, armoured vehicles, and artillery guns have also been destroyed.
Additionally, the statement emphasised that the Pakistan Air Force and ground forces have successfully targeted 51 different locations across Afghanistan. These operations have focused on key Taliban installations and hideouts as part of a strong response to unprovoked cross-border aggression.
