NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security forces have killed twenty-two militants (Khawarij) in a significant operation based on intelligence reports.
During this operation, the bodies of nine Khawarij militants were recovered, along with a large cache of weapons, which were transported to headquarters. Additionally, more bodies of Khawarij militants have been found in various locations.
According to sources, several key Khawarij centres and hideouts were destroyed during the operation. These include the Minarah Centre, Nawal Centre, Abu Hanifa School Centre, Operational Headquarters, Abu Bakr Centre, and Qayyum Centre.
During the search operation, eleven improvised explosive devices and mortar shells were seized. These were subsequently defused by the bomb disposal squad, preventing a significant terrorist plot from unfolding. Currently, the clearance of the Bobali Centre has been completed, and the search operation continues with the entire area under siege.
