QUETTA: Nine more terrorists of Fitna Al-Khawarij were killed as a result of a joint operation “Shaban” conducted by the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan, and Police.
According to security sources, effective operations against Fitna Al-Khawarij terrorists are ongoing by the security forces.
Sources said that terrorists hiding in the mountains of Balochistan were targeted through aerial and ground operations. With this, the total number of terrorists killed in Operation Shaban has risen to 52.
According to sources, 88 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shaban and other operations since July 5. Operation Shaban will continue in Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated.
Security sources said that 17 more terrorists were killed in the last 24 hours. According to sources, 26 terrorists were also killed in various operations on July 6 and 7, inflicting significant damage on the terrorists’ network.
Sources said the operations are being carried out under a joint strategy involving modern intelligence, aerial surveillance, and ground troops. Possible terrorist hideouts in mountainous areas were targeted.
Yesterday, security forces also foiled an attack on a police station in Zaidi area of Khuzdar carried out by terrorists through timely action.
