ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has highlighted several important requirements that parents should fulfil before applying for a child’s B-Form, either at a NADRA centre or through the Pak ID mobile app.

According to the guidelines, both parents must have valid and active CNICs, while their personal and marital records must be accurately registered in the NADRA database. The marital status of both spouses should be recorded as “married” in the system.

Parents must also ensure that the child’s birth registration with the relevant Union Council has been completed before applying for the B-Form.

Children aged over three years are required to visit a NADRA centre in person for photograph capture and thumb impression recording.

NADRA advised parents to ensure that all required records are complete and up to date to avoid delays in the B-Form application process.
