The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued an important warning to Pakistanis living abroad, particularly those residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Italy and Portugal.
NADRA has urged overseas Pakistanis to remain vigilant against unauthorised agents and organisations offering NADRA and passport-related services and to avoid conducting any transactions with them.
According to NADRA, such illegal agents and organisations are not only charging citizens excessive fees but may also be involved in the theft or misuse of personal identification information.
The authority said legal action has been initiated against these unauthorised individuals and entities.
