ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched its new and modern website, which aims to provide citizens with fast, easy and digital access to identity services.
According to a NADRA spokesperson, the new platform is a fully integrated digital system through which citizens will be able to obtain services for various identity documents and certificates, including CNIC, NICOP, POC, FRC, and CRC.
The NADRA spokesperson said that the organisation is gradually moving away from the paper and manual system to a biometric and modern digital identity framework, which is considered one of the most advanced identity systems globally.
The new website also includes online verification, maps and other modern features, through which citizens will be able to verify their identity documents without visiting the office.
Complete information regarding the application procedure, document requirements and processing timelines is also available on the website, while support and contact information are also provided to guide users.
This new portal also provides special convenience for Pakistanis living abroad, making access to NICOP and POC services easier and reducing the need for frequent visits to consulates.
