Former US President Bill Clinton has criticized current President Donald Trump over his anti-Muslim narrative, saying he is tired of those who defame Muslims just for being Muslims and said his daughter studies Quran at the age of 15.
According to foreign media reports, the former president recently addressed a gathering at a church in South Florida, where he criticized Americans for their inappropriate behavior towards Muslims and also highlighted the teachings of the Holy Quran.
During the election campaign of Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate David Jolly ahead of the mid-term elections, 80-year-old former President Clinton addressed a gathering.
On the occasion, he revealed, “My daughter studied Quran at the age of 15. She told me that Quran teaches that Allah has divided humans into nations and tribes.
“He said that we should not despise each other, because every religion has bad elements, we all have flaws.
Clinton’s remarks came in response to President Trump’s recent statements on unrest in France, which French President Macron had termed as unacceptable and foolish.
