ISLAMABAD: MG Motor Pakistan has officially launched the second-generation MG ZS Plus in the local market, marking the brand’s first major update to the crossover with the addition of hybrid powertrains.
The company announced three variants of the new ZS: Vibe, Hybrid+ Excite, and Hybrid+ Essence. Bookings for all variants are now open with a booking amount of Rs. 1,200,000. Industry analysts say the new ZS will compete directly with other crossover SUVs in the Rs. 6.5 million to Rs. 7.5 million price bracket. The Rs. 1.2 million booking amount applies uniformly across all three variants.MG Pakistan has not yet announced official delivery timelines, but dealerships across major cities including Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi have started taking bookings.
The launch comes as Pakistan’s auto sector sees renewed interest in hybrid and tech-loaded SUVs, despite overall market challenges.
