Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow and regret over the martyrdom of Group Captain Asim Tariq and said that he set an example of unparalleled courage, bravery, and duty by sacrificing his life to protect the life and honour of a woman.
In his condolence statement, the Prime Minister said that the nation always views the sacrifices of such brave sons with respect and dignity. He expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of martyred Group Captain Asim Tariq and said that the entire nation shares their grief equally.
The Prime Minister prayed that Allah Almighty may elevate the ranks of the martyrs, grant them a high position in His mercy, and grant the bereaved family the ability to bear this shock with patience and fortitude.
Shehbaz Sharif directed the relevant authorities to conduct a complete, impartial, and transparent investigation into the incident and severely punish the responsible elements according to the law.
