Eight officers of Punjab Police have been transferred and posted in Lahore, for which an official notification has also been issued.
According to the notification, Ismail-ur-Rehman has been posted as SSP Investigation CTD Punjab Lahore, while Farooq Amjad has been assigned the responsibilities of AIG Coordination CPO, Punjab, Lahore.
Ziaullah has been directed to report to the Central Police Office Punjab, Lahore, instead of a new posting. Maqsood Ahmed Lone has been posted as Additional Director Administration, SPU Punjab, while Muaz Zafar has been appointed as SP Security Three, Security Division, Raiwind, Lahore.
According to the notification, Hafiz Khizar Zaman has been posted as SP Investigation Okara, while Nasir Mahmood Khalid has been posted as SP Model Town Division, CTP Lahore. Similarly, Ghulam Murtaza has been assigned the responsibility of Additional Director SSP Central to SPU Faisalabad.
In the notification, all officers have been instructed to take charge of their new responsibilities and report to the concerned offices. The purpose of these postings in various departments of Punjab Police is to carry forward the administrative affairs and related responsibilities more effectively.
