ISLAMABAD: The government has once again revised petroleum product prices, announcing a significant reduction in kerosene oil prices while increasing petrol and diesel charges through higher petroleum levy rates.

According to an official notification, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs41.80 per litre, bringing the new rate down to Rs318.96 per litre.

Meanwhile, the government has increased the petroleum levy on fuel products. The levy on petrol has been raised by Rs13.91 per litre to Rs117.41 per litre.

Similarly, the levy on diesel has also been increased by the same amount, taking it to Rs42.60 per litre.

The latest adjustment comes as authorities continue efforts to manage fuel pricing and revenue collection amid changing economic conditions.
