PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Provincial Minister for Irrigation Riaz Khan has strongly condemned the incident of robbing a Buner family who were carrying a dead body from Karachi by dacoits in Mirpurkhas district of Sindh, terming it as crossing all limits of inhumanity and brutality.
Riaz Khan said that robbing a grieving family while traveling with the dead body and torturing an orphan girl is a condemnable act which is a shock to the entire Buner and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Irrigation Minister said that the incident of torturing an innocent orphan girl is extremely sad and heartbreaking, and such brutal elements do not deserve any concession. He demanded that the dacoits involved in the incident be immediately arrested and severely punished according to the law.
Riaz Khan said that the law enforcement agencies should arrest the culprits soon and bring them to justice so that the affected family can get justice. The provincial minister contacted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi about the incident and urged him to take steps to provide immediate justice to the affected family.
He said that the people of Buner share the grief of the affected family equally and the elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly should raise their voice strongly against this incident.
Riaz Khan expressed complete solidarity with the affected family and said that the provincial government stands with them and will provide them with all possible help.
