PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Khaliq-ur-Rahman has taken strict notice of the issues faced by students at the Nursing College Peshawar, directing an immediate, transparent, and impartial inquiry into their grievances.
Emphasizing accountability, the health minister stated that stern legal action will be taken against anyone found responsible once the inquiry concludes. Urging the students to keep faith in the authorities and avoid taking the law into their own hands, he assured them that no injustice will be tolerated regarding their legitimate rights. He advised the students to remain focused on their education and training, promising that all valid complaints will be resolved promptly.
In addition, the minister directed the District Police Officer (DPO) to review the matter and take necessary measures to ensure a peaceful resolution to the dispute. While acknowledging that peaceful protest is a fundamental right of every citizen, he stressed the importance of upholding the law and ensuring that demonstrations do not disrupt public order or the daily routines of other citizens.
