PESHAWAR: The Finance Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed all its employees to ensure attendance through the Smart Attendance App by 9:00am.
Any violation would invite disciplinary action against concerned employees. According to a circular issued by the department, the competent authority has expressed serious dissatisfaction over the failure of officers and staff members to observe official working hours.
The circular stated that a lack of punctuality was delaying the processing of official business, including important and urgent matters. Files requiring immediate attention were also being delayed due to the failure to observe office timings.
The department has instructed all officers and employees to record their attendance through the Smart Attendance App by 9:00am and ensure compliance with official working hours.
It warned that any violation of the instructions could lead to disciplinary action against the officers and employees concerned.
