PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and the party leadership are visiting Nawabshah today as part of the ongoing street movement, announced Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Shafi Jan.
According to Shafi Jan, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will address public gatherings at various locations across Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar, and Hyderabad.
He stated that during the ongoing street movement, the people of interior Sindh have delivered their verdict in favor of Imran Khan. He added that the success of the movement has laid the foundation for genuine political change in the province.
”The public’s enthusiasm clearly demonstrates that Imran Khan’s ideology and the call for change have now spread across all of Sindh,” Shafi Jan remarked.
“The overwhelming public participation proves that the end of political monopoly in Sindh is near.”
Criticizing the incumbent provincial government, Shafi Jan stated that the dilapidated condition of roads and the severe lack of basic amenities in interior Sindh stand as a clear testament to years of failed governance.
He accused the ruling party of establishing a political monopoly over public resources while depriving citizens of essential facilities.
He further emphasized that the people of Sindh now seek freedom from traditional politics and decades of deprivation, assuring that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), under the leadership of Imran Khan, will eradicate these hardships.
Calling the upcoming long march on September 27 a decisive phase in the struggle for Imran Khan’s release and true independence (“Haqeeqi Azadi”), Shafi Jan concluded that the march will write a new chapter in the fight for the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law in the country.
