PESHAWAR (Kashifuddin Syed): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi, on Sunday, lashed out over party internal issues in the parliamentary WhatsApp group.

After recent reports about internal rifts in the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and its division into multiple factions, the Chief  Minister of KP, Sohail Afridi expressed his anger in the parliamentary WhatsApp group, stating that an internal party general promised the external general.

He stated that some individuals were attempting to disrupt the parliamentary session. A general within the party claimed to be in the company of 27 MPAs and vowed to overthrow Imran Khan’s government in the province.

The Chief Minister instructed all members to arrive at the CM House by 7 PM today, asserting that no one has the power to topple Imran Khan’s government.

He asserted that even if every power in the world united against the government, it would remain unshaken.

In light of the conspiracies within the party, the CM urged members to stay united. He noted that some people do not accept the success of the upcoming session and that any conspiracies against Imran Khan’s government would ultimately fail.

He urged members of the assembly to prioritise their attendance at the session and to set aside all other commitments.
