PESHAWAR (Muhammad Ijaz Afridi): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) on Wednesday reshuffled 10 judicial officers across the province.

The KP Human Resource Management Department issued a notification of large-scale transfers and postings of judicial officers in the province.

According to the notification, four senior District and Sessions Judges serving in various Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATCs) of the province have been transferred and directed to report to the Peshawar High Court for further posting.

The notification indicated that several judicial officers have been instructed to report to the Peshawar High Court (PHC). This includes Judge Muhammad Asif-II from the Anti-Terrorism Court in Kohat, Judge Syed Aqeel Shah from the Anti-Terrorism Court in Mardan, Judge Sohail Shiraz Noor Sani from the Anti-Terrorism Court in Dera Ismail Khan, and Judge Fazal Sattar from the Anti-Terrorism Court in Matta Baqam Mardan. These four senior judges have been ordered to repatriate from their current positions and report to the High Court, where their new assignments will be determined later.

The notification stated that five District and Sessions Judges, who were awaiting posting at the Peshawar High Court, have been assigned new responsibilities against vacant posts in anti-terrorism courts across the province.

According to the notification, Mrs Rashida Bano, awaiting posting at PHC, has been appointed as the Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Mardan. Usman Wali has been appointed as the Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Matta Baqam Mardan, and Mrs Faryal Zia Mufti has been designated as the Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Kohat.

Moreover, Ijaz Rasheed, also awaiting posting at PHC, has been posted as the Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Swat, while the current Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Swat, Shaukat Ahmed Khan, has been transferred to the vacant position of Judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Dera Ismail Khan.

Furthermore, the notification states that Judge Rahatullah of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Bannu, who has been promoted to the position of District and Sessions Judge, will remain as a judge in the Labour Court in Bannu. He has also received formal approval to implement his promotion in accordance with departmental regulations.
