Temperatures across the province are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius with lows around 28 degrees at night. In the morning, it will be around 30 degrees but will feel like 37 degrees due to humidity.
By afternoon, the temperature rises to 36 degrees, and it will feel as hot as 41 degrees. Skies will remain mostly clear throughout the day with light winds from the south west.
The UV index is very high at 9, so residents are advised to avoid direct sun exposure between 11 am and 3 pm and to use sunscreen, hats and sunglasses when outdoors.
The weather will remain similar on Thursday and Friday with highs of 36 degrees and clear skies. There is no chance of rain for the next two days. However, the weather is expected to change over the weekend. Thunderstorms and showers are likely in parts of KP from Saturday onwards, with a high chance of rain on Monday.
In Peshawar today, the high will be 36 degrees and the low 28 degrees. The coming days will stay dry and hot before the weather system brings rain early next week.
