TOKYO: Japan has officially opened applications for its fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students for the 2027 academic year. The scholarships, which cover Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs, provide an exceptional opportunity for students to study in some of Japan’s top universities with full financial support.
The scholarship is provided by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT). They are known as being amongst the most prestigious scholarships in the world. Under this scholarship, tuition fee, entrance fee, a monthly stipend, hostel accommodation, and other living costs are covered by MEXT. The cost of traveling to and from Japan is also covered by the scholarship. In some cases, extra support is given.
IELTS score is not necessary, and there are also no charges for applying for the scholarship. A university admission letter is not required during the initial process, which means even final-year students can easily apply for this program.
