Islamic Studies papers of various education boards being leaked ahead of schedule are circulating on social media accounts and WhatsApp groups.
According to media reports, emerged regarding the Matriculation (SSC) Islamiat paper that the paper had gone viral on various WhatsApp groups and Facebook even before it started.
The Peshawar Board (BISEP) and other related education boards have not officially announced the cancellation of the paper at present; however, officials say that these reports are being investigated. According to the board administration, if the paper is confirmed to have leaked from a particular examination centre, the staff there will be replaced and strict legal action will be taken.
Earlier this month, there were complaints of Urdu and some other subject papers being leaked in Peshawar and other districts, which raised serious concerns among parents and students.
There is a strict ban on the use of mobile phones in examination centers; despite this, questions are being raised about the invigilation staff when images of the papers are leaked.
Students are advised to continue preparing for their next papers instead of paying attention to any rumours until a final notification is issued by the board.
