ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued a special traffic management plan for today, Aug 5, in connection with the Youm-e-Istehsal walk scheduled to take place from D-Chowk to the Foreign Office.

According to the traffic advisory, both carriageways from D-Chowk to the Foreign Office will remain closed to all types of traffic during the event.

The police have advised commuters to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. Traffic coming from the Secretariat has been directed to use Ayub Road and Embassy Road, while vehicles approaching from Serena Hotel should also use Embassy Road.

Motorists travelling from Bari Imam have been advised to take the New Bari Imam Road, whereas traffic from Club Road should use Embassy Road and Seventh Avenue.

The Islamabad Traffic Police has urged citizens to follow the traffic plan and stay updated through its official social media platforms and FM 92.4 for the latest traffic advisories.
