High alert security in Bara, heavy contingent of police deployed

KHYBER: Security has been put on high alert in Bara to maintain law and order, and a heavy contingent of police has been deployed to avert any untoward incident.

According to police sources, continuous monitoring of the security situation is being carried out in Bara Bazaar and surrounding areas. CCPO Peshawar is directly supervising all security arrangements. Effective coordination between Peshawar Police, Khyber Police, and other law enforcement agencies is underway.

CCPO Peshawar said, “Protection of lives and property of the public, government properties and sensitive installations will be ensured at all costs.

“Maintaining law and order and providing a safe environment to citizens is our top priority,” the CCPO said. “There will be no compromise on the rule of law. Those violating the law will be dealt with iron hands,” he added.

The CCPO warned that strict legal action will be taken against those who damage government property, resort to vandalism, or spread unrest under the garb of protest. Police officers and personnel are on full alert, and all available resources are being utilized to protect citizens and maintain peace. The public has been appealed to cooperate with police and administration in maintaining law and order.

“Peshawar Police, along with Khyber Police, is committed to maintaining peace in the area,” CCPO Peshawar said.
