DUBAI: If you have recently applied for or received a Dubai entry permit or residence visa, you can easily check its current status and validity from the comfort of your home.

To facilitate applicants, Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) provides an official online service at its dedicated portal (https://smart.gdrfad.gov.ae/Public_Th/StatusInquiry_New.aspx). Users can visit the website and select the visa status inquiry service to get started.

Available Search Methods:

Applicants can track their visa information using any of the following methods:

Application Number (for recently applied visas)

File Number (for already issued visas)

Over-the-Counter Service Requests

Special Requests

Establishment/Company (for companies registered with Dubai Immigration)

Required Details for File Number Search:

If you choose to search using your visa file number (which is printed on your entry permit or residence visa), you will need to provide:

First Name

File Number

Nationality

Date of Birth

Alternatively, these details can also be accessed via the UAE Pass app. Once all the required information is entered along with the captcha verification, clicking the search button will instantly display your visa status, expiration date, and other relevant details.
