ISLAMABAD: Kerosene oil has become more expensive by Rs 1.71 per litre following the latest revision in petroleum product prices, according to an official notification.

The notification stated that after the increase, the new price of kerosene oil has been fixed at Rs 313.44 per litre.

Govt slashes petrol prices for a week

Meanwhile, the government has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 6 and Rs 6.80 per litre, respectively.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the new price of petrol is now set at Rs 403 per litre, while the price of diesel has decreased to Rs 404 per litre.

This change in prices will take effect immediately across the country from midnight tonight.

The adjustment comes even as the government announced a reduction in prices of other petroleum products for the second consecutive week.
