ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a reduction in petrol and diesel prices, providing relief to consumers amid rising fuel costs.

According to the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs4 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs373.78 per litre. Diesel prices have been cut by Rs2 per litre, with the new rate set at Rs378.78 per litre.

The move comes as part of ongoing measures by the government to ease the financial burden on the public and stabilize fuel costs in the domestic market.

The Petroleum Division confirmed that these new rates are effective immediately and will apply across the country.
