The price of 24-karat gold has reached Rs 430,200 per tola after prices also increased in Global market.
The rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold is Rs 368,830. For 22-karat gold, the price stands at Rs 394,350 per tola, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold is being sold for Rs 338,094.
Silver prices have also gone up. Silver is currently priced at Rs 6,890 per tola and Rs 5,907 for 10 grams. Sarafa market experts said the rise is linked to global market trends. International gold prices have also surged to record highs above $4,100 per ounce due to ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
They added that local gold and silver rates are affected by several factors including international market movement, the US dollar rate, and domestic demand and supply.
