KARACHI: Gold and silver prices witnessed a significant decline in both international and local markets on Thursday.

According to rates released by bullion markets across Pakistan, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs 3,800, reaching Rs 453,436.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs 3,257 to Rs 388,749.

The price of 24-karat silver per tola also dropped by Rs 73, settling at Rs 6,869.

Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold declined by $38 per ounce, reaching $4,309 per ounce.
