SWAT: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat has announced the results of the 2026 annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations for Classes 9 and 10, with female students claiming all three top positions in the Class 10 examination.
According to the board, Shahana Ahmad, a student of Swat Tempo Model School, scored first position with 1,161 marks. Rashina, a student of Iqra Academy Saidu Sharif, secured second position with 1,158 marks, whereas Zalanda Sardar, again a student of Swat Tempo Model School, was at third position with 1,156 marks.
It is reported that a total number of 46,484 students from the districts of Swat, Buner, and Shangla appeared in their Class 10 annual examinations. Out of which, there were 34,421 candidates who were taking part in the science group and the rest of the students appeared in the arts group.
According to the results, the science group got a passing ratio of about 80 percent, whereas the arts group got a passing ratio of about 52 percent.
It may be added here that students have performed well this year in the science group.

Meanwhile, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand has completed preparations for the announcement of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination results, with the official declaration scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on August 6.
The annual examinations are being held under the supervision of BISE Malakand and according to officials, all preparations for compiling the results have been completed.
While speaking ahead of the results announcement, Chairman of BISE Malakand, Kaleem Ullah said the examinations were conducted in a transparent manner with full security measures to prevent any kind of cheating or other illegal practices during the examinations.
“The board made sure that the examinations were transparent due to the implementation of strict monitoring and anti-cheating measures,” the chairman said.
This year’s matriculation results will be announced in a unique way however, details of the new method have not been revealed by Kaleem Ullah.
Thousands of students are anxiously waiting for the results of the annual examinations held this year.
