The price of gold in Pakistan has recorded a major drop of Rs5,200 per tola as the price per Tola reached Rs 419636.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola has dropped by Rs5,200 to Rs419,636, while the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs4,458 to Rs359,770.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $52 to settle at $3,972 per ounce, contributing to the decline in domestic rates. Meanwhile, silver prices also moved downward. The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs107 to Rs6,242. Market experts attributed the fall in local gold prices to a decrease in international bullion rates and fluctuations in the exchange rate.

They said investors are closely monitoring global economic developments and central bank policies, which continue to influence precious metal prices worldwide.

Traders expect gold prices to remain volatile in the coming days as international market trends evolve.
